DestroyTwitter is a Twitter client made with Adobe Air. Thus, it is a nice, multi-platform tool that you can use in Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. It was designed to be as light as it can possibly be and to easily fit smaller screens like those in netbooks.

At only 900 kilobytes, this application would fit on a floppy disc if those were still in use. The application barely uses any memory and it looks very good. One of the things that make DestroyTwitter a very good client is that you can totally customize almost every aspect of the app's feel and look. You can of course do things like changing the font's style (size, font, etc), removing icons or changing sounds, but you can also change the way in which you receive tweets and the way you read or search for them. I like DestroyTwitter's approach towards filters. The application can be configured to filter out certain people. But it can also be used to filter specific types of tweets. For example, you can block comments from your friends about a particular event or block the event altogether. You can also block tweets about places your friends are going and tweeting about.

In short, DestroyTwitter is a very complete Twitter client. I like that it is light. It is highly customizable. But as always, personal preference plays a big part in deciding what client to use. You should try this out and make up your own mind about it.

I have mini PC, recovery management requires me to burn DVD. My small PC doesnt have a dvd. Why cant I just put the backup on a USB-drive? Do I have to buy a DVD-burner just for this?
